Program Description:

The Long-Term Care Nurse Aide program, also known as Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), is a 77-clock-hour program approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry. This program, instructed by licensed nurses, focuses on training students in the knowledge, clinical skills, and competency necessary to pass the Oklahoma certification exam and become certified as a Long-Term Nurse Aide. Students learn to perform the duties and responsibilities of a certified nurse aide, gaining both knowledge and clinical skills.

Upon completion at MedNoc Training College, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, a Training Completion Affirmation Form, and a Training Verification Form. After passing the CNA State certification exam, graduates are certified by the State of Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry as CNAs, qualified for entry-level positions in Long-Term Care facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living homes, group homes, hospice care, hospitals, and long-term acute hospitals.
